About Afriqiyah Airways
Afriqiyah Airways was founded in April 2001 and is owned by Libyan African Aviation Holding Company. Afriqiyah Airways commenced service in December of the same year. Initially, the company relied on Boeing 737-400 aircraft, but by 2003, the fleet transitioned to Airbus aircraft.
