All baggage are subject to inspection.

We reserve the right to refuse bags that have a size, weight, or any condition that poses a safety risk to other passengers and/or crew or baggage that is unsuitable for transportation on the aircraft.

Baggage will only be checked to the confirmed destination on your ticket.

Please make sure your name and contact details are located somewhere on your baggage.

Baggage containing Alcoholic drinks and Drugs of all kinds will be refused.
Afriqiyah is not responsible for any loss of or damage to, or delay in delivery of any baggage with inadequate packing, nor for damage to or damage caused by fragile articles, liquids, perishables, nor for the loss of or damage to, or delay in delivery of medicines, medical support devices, money, jewellery, silverware, negotiable papers, business equipment, securities, business/personal documents, books/manuscripts, optics, keys, publications, blueprints, paintings/works of arts, sound reproduction equipment, business samples, artistic items, irreplaceable items, photographs, natural fur products, antiques, heirlooms, collectibles, artefacts, precious metals/stones, photographic/audio/video equipment and related items, computer hardware/software and electronic components/equipment.
For reasons of safety and security, all passengers are kindly requested to remove any item from their baggage which may endanger or affect the safety and health, such as dangerous goods, perishables or similar. Any failure to observe safety or security instructions may result in the carriage of the passengers and their baggage being denied without any liability to the company. Any baggage which contains such items will be subject to rejection and confiscation by the airport authorities and may be destroyed.
Damaged Bags, bags checked in late, oversized baggage (in excess of 32kgs), items removed by security, fragile items, improperly packed items, non-standard pieces of luggage such as baby strollers, baby car seats, sporting equipment such as windsurfers, bicycles, golf sticks, skis and musical instruments can only be accepted with a Limited Release Tag (LRT) placed on the item. Afriqiyah may not be held liable.
